Refund Policy

Legal return period 14 days, but The Joyness offers 30 days!

According to the current legislation OUG 34/2014, the right to cancel a purchase only applies to individual customers. According to OUG no. 34/2014, the legal period to cancel a product is 14 calendar days from the date you enter physical possession of the purchased product.

We, The Joyness, offer you an extended period of 30 calendar days.

How to return a product

1. Products purchased from a physical store:

  • Products purchased from partner physical stores can be returned ONLY to the same store from which they were purchased.
  • It is necessary to present the original tax receipt to validate the return.
  • The products must be in the same condition in which they were purchased, unused, sealed and in the original packaging.
  • The value of the returned products will be refunded on the spot.

2. Products purchased online:

  • Products purchased online are returned by courier.
  • You can return a product within 30 calendar days from the date of receipt. To request a return, please send an e-mail to contact@thejoyness.com, mentioning:
    • the order number; your full name;
    • the products you wish to return;
    • the reason (optional, in order to improve our services)
    • the IBAN account for the refund of the amount (if the payment was made cash on delivery).

Important for the return of products purchased online!

  • The shipping costs for the return are borne by you, the customer, according to art. 14 par. (2) of the Emergency Ordinance. 34/2014.
  • The returned product must be in the same condition in which it was delivered, as far as possible in the original packaging with all accessories, with all product labels and accompanying documents.
  • If the products are returned in a condition in which they can no longer be sold by us, The Joyness reserves the right to request a reduction in the value of the product to restore it to its original state (if possible) or to cover the price difference resulting from reselling them as "second-hand".
  • At your option, we can reship the products to you, at your expense.
  • If you return a product accompanied by a promotional gift, that gift must also be returned.

Refunds

After receiving and checking the returned products, the value will be refunded within a maximum of 14 calendar days from the date your package arrived back to us.

If you paid by:

  • Card- the amount will be refunded to the same card through the payment processor. The amount will be visible in your account depending on the type of card and the contract you have with the issuing bank.
  • Refund to courier - we will transfer the money to the bank account specified in the return email.
